NO-TYPE MAGAZINE
No-Type Magazine is an independent publisher of photography. We feature lens-based artwork that provokes dialogue, invites critical thinking, and pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling. We publish a magazine and artists monographs biannually. In addition to publishing, No-Type offers self-publishing workshops and other programming designed to support artists in developing, producing, and sharing their work.
Editorial Approach
No-Type operates with a collaborative editorial model built around conversation within the photographic community. We release two magazine issues each year, in spring and fall. For each issue, we invite an established photographer to serve as a guest editor. They develop a theme connected to their own practice and work with us to select the artists and shape the direction of the issue.
