Fulfillment & Shipping

Fullfilment

  • Magazine orders are fulfilled in-house and typically processed within 48 hours. During high-volume periods—such as the release of a new issue—fulfillment may take slightly longer.

  • All merchandise—such as hats, tote bags, and apparel—is fulfilled and shipped by Printful, our print-on-demand production partner. Printful generally requires 2–7 business days to produce an item before it ships.

  • Pre-ordered publications ship once the print run is completed. Estimated ship dates are listed on the product page and will be confirmed via email updates.

SHIPPING

  • Because magazines and merch are fulfilled through different systems:

    • They ship from different locations

    • They cannot be combined into the same package

    • They will always arrive in separate shipments

    • You will receive separate tracking numbers

  • Magazines ship via USPS Media Mail, which typically delivers within 2–8 business days depending on your location and USPS workload.

  • Merchandise ships through Printful’s multi-carrier network, and standard domestic delivery generally takes 3–4 business days. Depending on the destination, shipments may be handled by DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another regional carrier. Orders often begin with a major carrier and are then handed off to the local postal service—such as USPS—for final delivery. Delivery times vary based on location, carrier, and hand-off speed.

  • Magazine orders include a USPS tracking number, while merch orders include a Printful-generated tracking link that may show multiple carriers or hand-offs. If you order both merch and magazines, you will receive separate tracking emails and the items will arrive on different days.

  • We currently do not offer international shipping for magazines or merchandise.

  • During holidays or peak shipping periods, both USPS and Printful may experience delays outside our control. Please allow additional time for both magazine and merch deliveries during these periods.

RETURNS & ISSUES

  • As a small-run independent publication, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as changed minds, incorrect quantities, or duplicate orders. Please review your cart carefully before checkout.

  • If your magazine or merch item arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost. Email info@notypemagazine.com within 14 days of delivery and include:

    • your order number

    • a brief description of the damage

    • clear photos of the item and packaging

  • If your order has not arrived within 15 days of the shipment date, we will investigate the delay with USPS or Printful’s carrier network and arrange a replacement when possible. Email info@notypemagazine.com and include:

    • your order number

  • If you receive the wrong item, we will correct the mistake and cover all replacement shipping costs. Email info@notypemagazine.com within 14 days of delivery and include:

    • your order number

    • a description of the issue

    • photos of the item received

POLICIES

  • Please ensure your shipping address is correct during checkout. We cannot replace or refund orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

  • If a package is marked “Delivered” but cannot be located, please contact the carrier directly. While we are not responsible for stolen packages, we will assist where possible.

  • We are a small, independent publisher with a limited team. We typically respond to customer support emails within 2–3 business days. Please allow additional time during peak periods, such as new print releases and holidays.
